If you are travelling from far afield (including all the English invaders!) then first of all thank you for that – we really appreciate it – or perhaps you just want to be in staggering distance of your bed. We thought you might appreciate a list of places to stay which are close to the venues.
We’ve not tried all of them out but here are the contact details and a guide to prices – hopefully there is somewhere to suit your budget. Hotels are coded red so you can identify them.
Norton House, Ingliston, Edinburgh, EH28 8LXThis is a lovely hotel situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh for those who woud rather avoid the hustle and bustle of the city.
The George Hotel, 19-21 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2PBThis is where the reception is taking place so handy for people to fall into bed afterwards! It is situated on George Street which is one of the best shopping places in Edinburgh. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby too. We have negotiated a special rate for wedding guests so say you are with the wedding party when you book.
